THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INTEGRATE THE RESEARCH PAYLOAD, WHICH INCLUDES THE ATAR AND ASSOCIATED AVIONICS; AND WILL SUPPORT NASAS FLIGHT TEST OF THE SYSTEM FROM ARMSTRONG FLIGHT RESEARCH CENTER, AFRC, AT EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, EAFB, IN CALIFORNIA. WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK ENTITLED, UAS INTEGRATION IN THE NAS PROJECT FLIGHT TEST 6 RESEARCH PLATFORM, DATED AUGUST 02, 2018. THE UAS NAS PROJECT EXPECTS THE NAVMAR APPLIED SCIENCES CORPORATION, NASC, HEREIN REFERRED TO AS THE CONTRACTOR, TO PROVIDE A TIGERSHARK, A GROUP 3 UAS, AS A PLATFORM TO FLIGHT TEST THE DAPA LITE ATAR. THE CONTRACTOR WILL INTEGRATE THE RESEARCH PAYLOAD, WHICH INCLUDES THE ATAR AND ASSOCIATED AVIONICS; AND WILL SUPPORT NASAS FLIGHT TEST OF THE SYSTEM FROM ARMSTRONG FLIGHT RESEARCH CENTER, AFRC, FROM HERE ON REFERRED TO AS THE CENTER, AT EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, EAFB, IN CALIFORNIA. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE ITANDE-LED INTEGRATION TELECONS AND WORKING GROUPS TO DEFINE AND REFINE INTERFACE AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS. ON-AIRCRAFT INTEGRATION WILL INCLUDE THE INSTALLATION OF A DAPA LITE RADAR SYSTEM, RESEARCH AVIONICS, AND A SMOKE SYSTEM. THE DAPA LITE RADAR SYSTEM CONSISTS OF THREE RADAR PANELS, AND ITS INSTALLATION WILL INVOLVE A MODIFICATION TO THE TIGERSHARK AIRCRAFT NOSE THAT WILL AFFECT THE AIRCRAFT OUTER MOLD LINE, OML. THE SMOKE SYSTEM IS INTENDED TO IMPROVE VISIBILITY OF THE TIGERSHARK TO OTHER AIRCRAFT FOR SAFETY PURPOSES. FLIGHT TEST SUPPORT WILL INCLUDE INTEGRATION AND CHECKOUT OF GROUND SYSTEMS PRIOR TO THE FLIGHT PHASE. NAMELY, THE CONTRACTORS MOBILE OPERATIONS CENTER, MOC, OR THE PORTABLE MOBILE OPERATIONS CENTER, PMOC, WILL NEED TO BE INTERFACED WITH NASAS MOBILE OPERATIONS FACILITY 5, MOF5. DURING FLIGHT TESTING AT EAFB, THE MOC OR PMOC WILL BE USED FOR LAUNCH AND RECOVERY OF THE TIGERSHARK, AND FOR BACK-UP OR EMERGENCY PILOT SUPPORT BY THE CONTRACTOR.
